Bellows Face Sallet around 1490 made of 2mm thick steel - battle ready

This bellows face sallet is a reconstruction of a late medieval bellows face sallet, which was probably made around 1490 by Plattner in Northern Italy. Because of its unusual visor this helmet is called bellows face sallet.

It is made of 2mm thick steel, whereas the movable visor is made of 1.6mm thick steel.
For the attachment on the head, a size-adjustable, padded fabric inlet, as well as a chinstrap made of leather was riveted in.
