Hand-forged crow's foot made of steel

This hand-forged crow's foot is a detailed replica of a medieval throwing iron, also known as a wolf hook. With its four prongs—three forming the legs and one pointing upwards—the crow's foot was once an effective weapon for hindering enemy cavalry. The Romans were already familiar with similar devices, known as tribuli, and in the Middle Ages they were scattered in large numbers on battlefields.
Our version is made from a single piece of steel. The prongs are created by splitting the steel while it is still warm – a traditional forging technique that gives the piece its rustic character.
Apart from its historical significance, the crow's foot is also ideal as a decorative candlestick, adding a special touch to any medieval or rustic interior.
