Viking belt buckle Birka Early Middle Ages Borres style for belts up to 3cm - A historically inspired belt buckle made of solid cast brass in the Borres style, silver-plated and with decorations from the 10th century. Suitable for belts up to 3 cm wide.

Description

This early medieval buckle was found at grave number 750 in Birka. The original finding on which this replica is relied on is dated to the 10th century.

For straps up to 3cm (1.18 inches)

Material: brass silvered with new silver

The buckle is riveted to the strap by using the rivet pins on the backside of the buckle.
