This hand-crafted wine cup made of ochre-colored clay is modeled after a historical original and has been fired at 1,200 °C for extra durability. The wine cup has a volume of approx. 200 ml, a height of approx. 10 cm, and a diameter of approx. 8 cm. With its bottle green, food-safe glaze, it brings authentic medieval flair to the table and is still dishwasher safe.

Medieval clay wine cup

This medieval clay cup is modeled after a historical original and brings a real medieval feel to the table. It was traditionally thrown on a potter's wheel and fired at 1,200 °C (2,192 °F), making it particularly stable and durable.
The rim of the cup is overglazed for hygienic reasons. The bottle green glaze used was extremely popular in the 16th century. The glaze is, of course, food-safe and free of lead and other harmful substances. The mug is also dishwasher safe and therefore suitable for everyday use.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted in Germany – without any industrial assistance – to preserve its authentic character.
