This decorative reinterpretation of a medieval crossbow was made with a steel bow and a wooden stock. The bow, the trigger, the roller lock (the so-called "nut") and all other related fittings were also machined from steel.

The three bolts are made of wood with a blackened steel bodkin tip for more strength and sturdiness.

Please note: This replica medieval crossbow, made with only a degree of functionality, is not suitable for marksmanship training, nor for display combat. This crossbow has been crafted with care and makes a nice display piece for historical weapon collections, decoration, or a medieval-themed accessory. Due to the cocking action and the sharp tip of the bolt, this crossbow is subject to an age restriction - so it is intended for adults only.
