Description

Rodrigo Cotehardie – Historical brocade jacquard button-up jacket

The Rodrigo Cotehardie from the Yoremade collection is an authentic reproduction of a late medieval cotehardie dating from the period 1300 to 1500. The figure-hugging, fitted cut reflects the historical fashion ideal of the 14th and 15th centuries and gives the wearer an elegant, distinguished silhouette – whether at medieval markets, LARP events or festive banquets.

Material and workmanship

The outer fabric is a heavy brocade jacquard (60% viscose, 40% cotton), which creates a rich, textured look thanks to its woven pattern. The smooth satin lining prevents the garment from slipping or bunching over undergarments. The full-length button placket at the front and the decorative buttons on the lower sleeves ensure the typical tight, tapered sleeve cuffs of the historical original.
