Skramasax, Sax with wood/bone handle and leather sheath

This skramasax, also called "broken back sax knife", has a sharp carbon steel blade. The wooden handle finishes with a layer of bone and a brass ferrule. For added functionality, the handle cap is equipped with a brass lanyard loop.

The sax sheath is made of leather, richly decorated with brass fittings and offers two sturdy loops to carry the sax in traditional Viking style - horizontally on the belt.

The blade is sharp and fully functional, but should not be used for exhibition fighting or other forms of combat. Therefore, this sax is suitable as a collector's item or decoration.
