Échos & Merveilles Festival – 5 days of medieval fantasy near Toulouse
From 13 to 17 May 2026, the Bascala in Brugières (Haute-Garonne, Occitanie) will host the 8th edition of Échos & Merveilles, a unique medieval fantasy festival near Toulouse. For five days, an immersive medieval village comes to life on the site, open from 10am to 10pm with night-time concerts until 3am at the weekend.
A blend of historical re-enactment and fantasy, the festival features medieval encampments with craftsmen, storytellers, street performers, armoured combat and fantastical creatures. Evenings come alive with concerts of medieval and fantasy music across several stages. Throughout the weekend, the atmosphere—a blend of magic, costumes and lights—enchants young and old alike in a timeless epic.
