ANNO 1250 – Historic Rampart at Höxter 2026 – The Middle Ages in the Weserbergland
From 10 to 12 July 2026, ANNO 1250 will take place at the Archaeology Park (formerly the State Garden Show) in Hoexter, North Rhine-Westphalia. The Historic Wall brings medieval festivities to the Weserbergland.
Hoexter – Weser Renaissance town
Hoexter on the River Weser captivates visitors with its magnificent Weser Renaissance buildings. The Archaeology Park on the former State Garden Show site offers ample space for this major medieval festival.
Programme and attractions
ANNO 1250 features jousting tournaments, exhibition fights, medieval music, juggling and crafts. Numerous traders will be showcasing their wares. For children, there are hands-on activities and knightly games.
Opening hours and admission
Opening hours: Fri 4pm–10pm, Sat 1pm–10pm, Sun 11am–7pm. Admission: Adults €12, children up to 14 years €8. Children under 1.20 m free.
