About FALLEN - End Time LARP 2026
FALLEN 2026 – Post-apocalyptic LARP in Mahlwinkel
From 29 April to 3 May 2026, a former military site in Mahlwinkel (Saxony-Anhalt) will once again be transformed into a post-apocalyptic game world. FALLEN is considered Germany’s largest end-of-the-world LARP and is organised by the volunteer group Lost Ideas. The event series looks back on over 15 years of history – initially under the name F.A.T.E., and since 2020 as FALLEN.
The concept
FALLEN is based on a sandbox principle: the apocalypse is already in the past, and participants shape their own daily lives in a devastated world. The focus is on the struggle for survival, trade and social interaction. Every year, a bustling post-apocalyptic town springs up on the sprawling site featuring abandoned barracks, tank depots and overgrown wilderness – complete with traders, bars, a hospital and numerous other venues. The currency of this world is the so-called ‘Bullet’, issued by the ever-present Trading Company.
The site
The game area covers over 300,000 square metres of a military base that has been abandoned for more than 30 years. Dilapidated buildings, pine forests and open wasteland create an atmosphere that could hardly be replicated artificially. Lost Ideas has been investing in the maintenance and development of the site for over a decade.
Participation and tickets
Tickets for FALLEN 2026 are available in tiers: the first price tier starts at €159, the second is €169 and the third is €179. GSC tickets (for game-supporting characters) cost €99. To participate, you must be familiar with the core rules and be at least 18 years old. FALLEN is a self-catering event – you must bring your own food and drink.
