Medieval Spring Market in Nußdorf am Inn 2026 – Start of the season in the beech forest
When the first green shoots sprout and streams begin to babble, the new medieval market season begins in Nußdorf am Inn. From 13 to 15 March 2026, the medieval spring market "Am Fuße des Heubergs" (At the foot of the Heuberg) invites you to a special experience – idyllically located in the middle of a beech forest with a babbling mountain stream in the Bavarian community near Rosenheim.
Date and opening hours
The Spring Market 2026 is open: Friday, 13 March, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, 14 March, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, 15 March, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
What can visitors expect?
The Lenzmarkt is one of the first medieval markets of the season in Bavaria and is organised by the Familia Canem Nigrum. Numerous medieval stallholders, restaurateurs, musicians and jugglers transport visitors back to a bygone era. The romantic atmosphere of the forest park with its old beech trees makes the market something very special.
Handcrafted goods, medieval food and drinks, music and juggling ensure an authentic experience. Suitable for families and medieval fans alike, the Lenzmarkt offers an atmospheric start to the event year.
Admission and directions
Adults €6, children over 120 cm €4. Children up to sword height (120 cm) have free admission. Families only pay for the first child. Nußdorf am Inn is located in the district of Rosenheim in Upper Bavaria and is easily accessible via the motorway.
