About 2nd Medieval Festival Drachenmoor Müncheberg
2. Drachenmoor Medieval Festival, Müncheberg
Müncheberg in Brandenburg is flat countryside, lakes and marshes, with abundant nature. Drachenmoor is an area of water and woodland, ideal as a venue for a large-scale medieval outdoor event. The 2nd Drachenmoor Müncheberg Medieval Festival will take place from 30 April to 3 May 2026 – with a pre-event already on Wednesday, 30 April.
Drachenmoor Müncheberg (Märkisch-Oderland), Großer Mostpfuhl – this is a spacious site where hundreds of tents, stalls and stages will be set up. This is not a city event, but an open-air festival with plenty of space, fresh air and greenery.
Opening hours: Wednesday 30 April 3pm–10pm, Thursday 1 May 10am–10pm, Friday 2 May 10am–10pm, Saturday 3 May 10am–10pm, Sunday 4 May 10am–6pm. That’s five days packed with activities – ideal for fans who want to attend for several days. The ticket is a flat-rate pass: €10 per person, valid for all days (see the website for full details).
The site is large enough to accommodate many different zones: a combat area with tournaments, a crafts area with stalls, a tavern area with food and drink, and a music area with stages. Visitors can wander around, watch, shop, eat and play.
Drachenmoor is close to Berlin (about an hour’s drive) – ideal for city dwellers looking to take a longer trip. There are campsites on the grounds themselves, and hotels are available in Müncheberg and the surrounding area.
This is the big festival for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Middle Ages for several days.
