MPS Bueckeburg (Part 1) 2026 – Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum in the Castle Park
On 25 and 26 July 2026, the Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum (MPS) will be performing in Bueckeburg Castle Park in Bueckeburg, Lower Saxony. Europe’s largest travelling medieval festival brings its tried-and-tested programme to the princely royal seat in the Schaumburg region.
Bueckeburg Castle Park
Bueckeburg Castle Park is part of the residential palace of the Princes of Schaumburg-Lippe. The extensive landscaped park with its mature trees provides a magnificent backdrop for the MPS.
Programme and attractions
The MPS offers live music on several stages featuring well-known medieval rock and folk bands, juggling, fire shows, jousting tournaments and a huge medieval market. There are dedicated play areas for children.
Opening hours and admission
Opening hours: Sat 11am–midnight, Sun 11am–7pm. Admission Sat: 26€ for ages 15 and over, 13€for ages 7–14. Sun: 20€ for ages 15 and over, 10€ for ages 7–14. Free for children under 7.
