About Biot and the Knights Templar
Biot and the Knights Templar – 10th anniversary edition in a medieval Provençal village
From 10 to 12 April 2026, the charming medieval village of Biot (Alpes-Maritimes, Provence) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Biot and the Knights Templar, one of the most popular medieval festivals on the French Riviera. Admission is free, and the organisers are expecting 110,000 visitors for this exceptional anniversary.
For three days – Friday from 6.30pm to 10pm, Saturday from 10am to 9pm, Sunday from 10am to 6pm – the narrow streets of this listed village will come alive with knights, troubadours, jugglers and fire-eaters. Templar encampments and armoured combat demonstrations recreate the atmosphere of the Crusades. The craft market offers pottery, jewellery, replica weapons and Provençal specialities.
Biot, famous for its blown glassware and honey, offers an authentic medieval setting just a few kilometres from Antibes and Valbonne.
Free admission.
