About Dragonia au Château de Spontin
Dragons, knights and magic at Spontin Castle
On 28 and 29 June 2026, Spontin Castle in Yvoir, in the Province of Namur, will host Dragonia, its unique medieval fantasy festival. Following the success of previous editions of Les Médiévales, Dragonia takes the experience a step further by blending history, fantasy and live-action role-playing within the enchanting setting of the medieval castle.
On the programme: immersive activities for families and role-players, jousting tournaments and medieval battles, folk and medieval music concerts, introductory sessions on the art of combat, archery and calligraphy, as well as a market featuring craftspeople specialising in the fantasy and medieval worlds. Fantastic creatures and characters in elaborate costumes roam the grounds, transporting visitors to a world of legend where dragons and knights rub shoulders.
Prices can be found on the castle’s website. Open on both days from 10am to 6pm.
