About Middle Ages by the sea
For the 14th time, the ‘Medieval Festival by the Sea’ is taking place in the North Sea resort of Dangast (Auf der Gast 40), right on the beach. With a wide variety of food and drink, trade, crafts, stalls, military encampments and minstrels, young and old alike will be transported back to the days of old East Frisia. Immerse yourself in the world of Arngast, the island that was ravaged by the St Clement’s Flood in November 1334 and eventually disappeared piece by piece by the end of the 19th century.
