MPS Rastede 2026 – Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum in the Castle Park
From 14 to 17 May 2026, the legendary Medieval Fantasy Spectaculum (MPS) will be held in Rastede Castle Park in Rastede, Lower Saxony. Europe’s largest travelling medieval festival brings four days of music, juggling and market bustle to the Ammerland region.
Rastede Castle Park
The extensive Rastede Castle Park, with its mature trees and well-tended lawns, provides the perfect setting for the MPS. The grand ducal castle in the background lends the festival a special charm.
Programme and attractions
The MPS offers its tried-and-tested programme: live music on several stages featuring well-known medieval rock and folk bands, juggling, fire shows, jousting tournaments and a huge medieval market with over 100 stalls. There are dedicated areas for children with games and hands-on activities.
