About Sadisdorf Medieval Festival
The roar of cannons and the hustle and bustle of the market: Sadisdorf celebrates the authentic Middle Ages From 19 to 21 June 2026, Sadisdorf, a district of Dippoldiswalde, invites you to a lively medieval market. Under the motto ‘Celebrate the light of days gone by’, visitors can look forward to a family festival that stands out from traditional castle festivals. The absolute highlight of the weekend: a gunner will fire a real historical cannon and hook guns live. Away from the thunder, the market offers hands-on crafts such as live blacksmithing, ribbon weaving and exclusive goldsmithing. Culinary delights include open stew pots, mead and artfully made crêpes. The well-known duo Coscarachos will ensure a fantastic atmosphere. Children can look forward to archery and the herb fairy. Admission costs 5 euros, with all proceeds going as a donation to the Sadisdorf Volunteer Fire Brigade. Opening hours: Fri. from 4 pm, Sat. from 10 am, Sun. 10 am–4 pm Admission: 5 euros
