Spectaculum Gebhardi Hagensis Salzgitter 2026 – The Middle Ages with free admission
On 20 and 21 June 2026, the Spectaculum Gebhardi Hagensis will take place at Gebhardshagen Water Castle in Salzgitter, Lower Saxony. The castle complex at Vor der Burg 19 will be transformed into a medieval festival setting – with free admission.
Gebhardshagen Moated Castle
Gebhardshagen Water Castle is a medieval castle complex in the Gebhardshagen district of Salzgitter. The well-preserved complex, complete with a moat and inner courtyard, offers an atmospheric setting.
Programme and attractions
The Spectaculum offers a varied programme: jousting tournaments, medieval music, juggling and craft demonstrations. Historical goods are on sale at the market stalls.
