Spectaculum in Worms 2026 – Medieval Market in the City of the Nibelungs
From 15 to 17 May 2026, the Spectaculum will be held in the Waeldchen (city park) in Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate. The City of the Nibelungs on the Rhine, which is linked to the Middle Ages like almost no other city, offers a special setting for the spectacle.

Worms is inextricably linked to the Nibelungen saga and looks back on over 2,000 years of city history. With its mature trees and extensive meadows, the city park on Friedrichsweg provides a charming backdrop for the hustle and bustle of the medieval market.
Programme and attractions
The Spectaculum offers an extensive programme: jousting tournaments, exhibition fights, juggling, fire shows and medieval music. Numerous traders and craftsmen showcase their skills. At the market stalls, mead, bratwurst and handmade goods beckon.
Opening hours and admission
Opening hours: Friday 2 pm–midnight, Saturday 10 am–midnight, Sunday 10 am–6 pm. Admission: Adults €14, costumed visitors €12. Children up to and including 12 years free.
