Medieval Fair Mannheim 2026 – Time travel in Herzogenriedpark
From 13 to 15 March 2026, Herzogenriedpark in Mannheim will once again be wild, magical and truly medieval: the Medieval Fair is returning, immersing the city in the era of the Germanic tribes, Celts and Vikings for a weekend.
Date and opening hours
The market will be open on Friday, 13 March, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturday, 14 March, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sunday, 15 March, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. On all three market days, access to the park will only be possible with a ticket for the Medieval Market.
Over 120 exhibitors and a colourful programme
Over 120 exhibitors will be showcasing their skills in traditional crafts: blacksmithing, woodturning, sewing, leatherworking and hurdy-gurdy making. Leather and pottery goods, handmade robes, armour and knight's helmets, oriental fruits, brewed beer and mead will be on offer at the stands.
Jousting tournaments, fencing displays and crossbow shooting provide excitement. Storytellers, jugglers and musicians offer authentic entertainment – from folklore to medieval rock. Camp groups from all over Germany create a lively medieval backdrop with tents, fire pits and period clothing. For children, there is archery, javelin throwing, clay building and bookbinding.
Admission and directions
Herzogenriedpark is centrally located in the Neckarstadt district and is easily accessible by RNV tram lines 1, 3, 4, 5 and 15. The Mannheim Medieval Fair has long been a fixed date for medieval fans in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region in Baden-Württemberg.
