About Viking Festival Schladitzer Bucht
Schladitzer Bucht Viking Festival 2026 – Nordic warriors at the gates of Leipzig
On 9 and 10 May 2026, the Vikings will set up camp at Schladitzer Bucht in Rackwitz near Leipzig, Saxony. The Viking Festival at Haynaer Strasse 1 offers an authentic Nordic experience right by the water.
Schladitzer Bay – Vikings by the lake
Schladitzer Bay on Lake Schladitz is a popular local recreation area north of Leipzig. The sandy shore and the expanse of water are reminiscent of Scandinavian fjords and provide an ideal backdrop for the Viking camp.
