Viking Market Schilde 2026 – Nordic camp life in Prignitz
From 23 to 25 May 2026, a large Viking market will take place in Schilde in the Prignitz district of Brandenburg. Visitors can expect an authentic Viking experience at the Kulturscheune Schilde over the Whitsun weekend.
Schilde – Vikings in Prignitz
Schilde is located in the sparsely populated Prignitz region in north-western Brandenburg. The rural surroundings with meadows and forests provide a natural backdrop for the Viking camp.
Programme and attractions
Viking groups will set up an authentic camp with tents, fire pits and craft demonstrations. There will be exhibition fights, Nordic music and demonstrations of blacksmithing and woodworking. Handcrafted goods, mead and Nordic specialities will be on offer at the market stalls.
Opening hours
The Viking market is open on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
