About Narni Ring Race
Corsa all'Anello di Narni 2026 – 58th edition of the medieval horse tournament
From 23 April to 10 May 2026, the Umbrian town of Narni (Terni) will host a month of medieval events culminating in the 58th Corsa all'Anello. This event, one of the oldest historical re-enactments in Umbria, takes place in the 16th-century setting of Piazza dei Priori.
Three historic districts – Fraporta, Mezzofronte and Santa Maria – compete for victory in the equestrian final on Sunday 10 May. One knight per district gallops forward, attempting to spear the suspended ring. In the weeks leading up to the event, side events enliven the city: a medieval market, historical parades, district dinners, falconry shows and an extensive cultural programme. Underground Narni, with its tunnels and medieval frescoes, can be visited throughout the event.
There is an admission fee
for the final competition.
Location:
Piazza dei Priori, 05035 Narni (TR).
