On 25 and 26 April 2026, the idyllic Gut Wolfgangshof near Zirndorf, Bavaria, will open its gates for the popular Medieval Market. The historic estate near Nuremberg is a firm favourite among lovers of the Middle Ages and offers an atmospheric market experience every spring.

The Wolfgangshof estate at Weitersdorfer Strasse 22 in Zirndorf-Anwanden is situated in the heart of the Franconian cultural landscape. The historic buildings and extensive green spaces provide the perfect setting for an authentic medieval market.
Programme and attractions
Numerous traders and craftsmen present their wares and skills on the estate grounds. Re-enactment battles, juggling, music and fire shows provide entertainment. Children can enjoy archery, jousting and face painting. The market stalls tempt visitors with hearty food, fresh bread and mead.

The medieval market is open on Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. Admission: Adults €12, children €6, guests in historical costume €10.
