17th Tambach-Dietharz Knights’ Games 2026 – A Spectacle in the Thuringian Forest
On 11 and 12 July 2026, the 17th Knights, Warriors and Heroes Festival will take place on the Ochsenwiese in Tambach-Dietharz, Thuringia. Organised by the ACW Medieval Society, visitors can look forward to a spectacular event at the gateway to the Thuringian Forest.

Tambach-Dietharz lies at the entrance to the Thuringian Forest and is a popular holiday resort. The Ochsenwiese offers ample space for the tournament grounds, market stalls and camps.
Programme and attractions
The Knightly Hero Games feature jousting tournaments, exhibition fights, medieval music, juggling and craft demonstrations. Historical goods are on sale at the market stalls. There are hands-on activities for children.

Admission: €9, costumed visitors €7. Children under 1.20 m free.
