Ohrdruf Tournament Games 2026 – Knight Tournament at Pentecost in Thuringia
From 23 to 25 May 2026, tournament games will take place at Ohrdruf Castle and Park in Thuringia. Over the Whitsun weekend, the historic site in 99885 Ohrdruf will become the stage for spectacular knight tournaments.
Ohrdruf Castle and Park
Ohrdruf, on the northern edge of the Thuringian Forest, looks back on a long history – the missionary Boniface once worked here. With its historic buildings and green spaces, the castle and park complex offers the ideal setting for medieval tournaments.
Programme and attractions
The highlights are the grand jousting tournaments on horseback with lance fighting and sword fighting. There are also exhibition fights on foot, juggling, fire shows and medieval music. Numerous traders and craftsmen present their skills. There are hands-on activities for children.

Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Whit Monday 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Admission: Adults €15, children €7, people in costume €12.
