Vehi Mercatus is a small team of medieval enthusiasts who work together daily to source, improve and distribute products for your medieval hobby. Online and offline.
In 2006 the "Mittelalterwerkstatt" was founded by Daniela Meißner as a side business out of the hobby. Reenactment needs were still scarce at that time. The idea to offer commodities for the reenactment hobby was born quickly. But the name "Mittelalterwerkstatt" and secondary business ambitions should not remain.
In 2007 the "Mittelalterwerkstatt" - now together with Dominik Klauke - was renamed Vehi Mercatus. Many markets were visited and the online shop was gradually created as an accessory.
In 2011 the sole proprietorship was changed into Vehi Mercatus GmbH. The share of online trade continued to increase.
At the end of 2016 Dominik Klauke left the company to dedicate himself to market gastronomy and his wine tower.
At the end of 2017 Daniela Meissner quit her business activities for Vehi Mercatus for personal reasons and the operation of Vehi Mercatus GmbH was discontinued. Vehi Mercatus - the travelling merchants from the Bavarian Forest became Vehi Mercatus - your outfitter for re-enactment and the Middle Ages.
Since 2018 BL Produkte GmbH takes over the brand and the webshop Vehi Mercatus and leads them to the current state.
2020 Enlargement of the business premises and associated move to 94255 Böbrach.
2021 Opening of the retail store in 94255 Böbrach.
2023 Expansion of the product range to include the outdoor segment and enlargement of the plant location in Böbrach.
Our focus is now stronger than before in online trade and we are working hard to put a new exclamation mark behind our company motto "Your outfitter for re-enactment and the Middle Ages" every day!
From museum visits to product development and sales of medieval products, it is our claim to offer qualitatively convincing products. We are only satisfied if you enjoy our products and like to use them in your hobby. Furthermore, it is important to us that you receive your goods promptly.
