Viking helmet or Coppergate helmet made of 1.6mm strong steel, with butted aventail - battle ready

This Viking helmet or Coppergate helmet was made after a find from the 8th century.

Decorative brass applications with engravings were attached to the helmet.
The chain well was made of unriveted, galvanized rings.
A leather inlay as well as a chinstrap was fitted into the helmet to attach it to the head.
