The fillet knife from Kershaw with 9-inch blade (Kershaw 9-in. Fillet) is the ideal knife for filleting larger fish. The blade is made of Japanese 420J2 stainless steel and has just the right amount of pliability to make your job easier when filleting. The softer nature of this steel allows the blade to bend without breaking and glide effortlessly through the fish to yield the perfect fillet. In addition, the steel used here has very high corrosion resistance - and this is arguably especially important when working in an environment dominated by water.

The handle is durable and ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip while filleting. Thanks to neon accents that embellish the plain black handle, the knife is in no danger of getting lost on the beach or on the shore of a lake or river. The copolymer material provides excellent grip, and the soft yet firm surface texture takes the strain off the hand, even when filleting larger catches. In terms of design, the handle fits snugly in the hand thanks to bulging in the middle area and hand guards at both ends. Thus, it can be optimally embraced and offers a particularly firm and comfortable grip.

For the proper storage of this filleting knife provides the included ABS sheath, which also allows you to wear the knife on your belt.
