Gambeson with buckles and straps made of linen blend in black

Protective and dressy at the same time comes our gambeson Donnergrund.

Gambesons are textile armor parts, which consisted of filled linen. It was worn by knights under their armor or chain mail, or by simple militia solo. It was used until it was gradually replaced by the brigantine in the 15th century.
