The Knight's Tent Burgundy is a functional and sturdy storage tent with generous space and a stately height of 3.50 meters. It is easy to set up with 3-4 people. Once the roof is erected, you simply hang the two side parts by means of hooks and eyes. A surrounding pelmet covers and closes the transition. Without side parts, you can also use the medieval tent as a canopy. The canopy provides sufficient sun and rain protection, is separate and can be attached or removed as needed. Inside there is a dust and dirt trap at the bottom. The entrance is closed with loops, otherwise you just roll it up. For a little more air and light, the back can also be opened. The iron standing and side poles also conveniently have a tip at the bottom to fix them in the ground.

The historic knight's tent is impregnated against fungus and rot. The fabric is made of pure cotton and particularly strong and tear-resistant, yet very cheap and makes this medieval tent an indispensable piece of equipment for medieval markets, army camps or LARP.

Our tents and camp tarpaulins are pre-impregnated and thus water-repellent. For the care and renewal of the impregnation, we recommend regular treatment with impregnation spray, for example PLUVONIN. So you will have long pleasure in your tent.

Dimensions are all approximate and may vary from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them appear as authentic as possible, but also brings one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently under different external conditions, i.e. it can contract or stretch a lot. As a result, the iron rods provided may not immediately fit into the openings provided. It may be necessary to shorten the poles slightly. Please do not attempt to stretch the tent skin with great force. This increases the risk of it tearing or seams opening.

Important notes on construction, handling and care of our historical tents:

To ensure that you have long enjoyment of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent,knight tent, medieval tent, merchant tent or medieval market stall, the following tips are helpful:

Do not stretch the ropes too much, because natural materials such as wood and cotton change with humidity and need space to expand or contract. Thus you prevent that, for example, the openings for the rods in the roof widen and later water has the opportunity to penetrate. At night we recommend to loosen the ropes a little bit, because the humidity rises strongly and there is a possibility that too much pressure is put on your tent. In case of rain or high humidity, please also loosen the ropes a little. After use, be sure to dry your tent if it has become damp, otherwise there is a risk of mold. Do not use chemical or other cleaning agents to clean your tent. It is best to remove dried dirt with a brush. For storage over a longer period of time, please separate all items (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent canvas and pack everything separately. Make sure that all parts are dry and also stored dry.
