The M48 Ranger Hawl from United Cutlery is the ultimate companion for survival and rescue situations. This hatchet features a lightweight design that allows for long-lasting carry without fatigue, and the precision-cast cast 2Cr13 stainless steel head features a wide, upward-curving axe blade that delivers a tremendous delivers a tremendous chopping and cutting performance. The point at the back of the axe head is sharpened on both sides. Together the tip and the blade form an effective breaking tool and offer great application possibilities as a camping instrument. The head is securely connected to the fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle with the help of three screws. The handle section is wrapped with Paracord wrapped.

With the included carabiner, the axe can be effortlessly attached to a backpack or belt, or for storage be hung up. Also included is a durable nylon belt sheath with snap closure, Belt loop and small side pocket which houses a marching compass.
