medieval pants or chausses with laces made of cotton, brown
These medieval pants were made of cotton. By cutting in the direction of the thread, the trousers become slightly elastic and thus increase the wearing comfort. The hem was provided with a slit, so that they can be easily put into the shoes.
They can be attributed to the High Middle Ages. The delivery includes the cords.
The oldest evidence of such pants comes from the glacial body of Ötzi. However, pants did not become fashionable until the Middle Ages, when clothing became more physical. They were worn exclusively by men. With the nest ribbons they were fastened to the fracture or to the belt, until they were later finally fastened directly to the doublet.
Later they were also often worn together in different colours.
