Probably the milestone among the multipurpose knives. This model, widely used in Afghanistan as standard equipment by members of the Italian mission Nibbio, is part of a trial project for the renewal of individual equipment launched by the Alpine Troops Command. During the preparation of this important mission, the Alpine Troops Command has contracted a team of companies to carry out a complete and renewed individual trial equipment. Extrema Ratio is the company chosen by the Alpine Troop Command to develop a multipurpose knife for the infantry. What was needed was a knife that could be used all over the world and that could successfully deal with any problem that specialized equipment could not,
The Fulcrum is an extremely stable and agile knife. The blade carries breaking loads over 150 kg. The tip is very stable and the tanto profile allows to work with the knife for a long time without chipping the grind of the last section. The advanced center of gravity and blade weight make it suitable for heavy field work. The new stiff sheath allows comfortable and safe carrying.
