In developing Cold Steels® Pro Lite, the clear objective was to create a pocket knife that, while providing the strength and durability that Cold Steel® fans and customers have come to expect, also remains affordable!

The Pro Lite was designed by famed knifemaker Andrew Demko. It features a mirror polished, cryo-treated 4116 stainless steel blade (with clip, spear or tanto point) that is very sharp to sharpen and incredibly easy to resharpen in the field. In addition, the knife has a robust handle made of glass-reinforced nylon (in matte black or blue) with integrated catch strap eyelet and convertible pocket clip for left- and right-handers.

The Pro Lite features Cold Steels® breakthrough Tri-Ad® lock for even more security and strength. All the notoriously punishing Cold Steel®s quality control and stress tests this pocket knife could withstand! Rust-free 4116 knife steel
4116 steel is a fine-grained stainless knife steel from Germany. It is often used for pharmaceutical utensils and for high quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon to chromium ratio provides both premium rust protection and great strength. Very fine, extremely sharp cutting edges are sharpenable. An excellent choice for outdoor and hunting knives. Cold Steels® stainless steel 4116 is cryo-treated. This cryogenic treatment provides significantly better strength, hardness, and resistance and provides greater edge retention.
