Pocket knife Kershaw Blur with Tanto Blade, Black, Partial Serrated

While the Tanto Blur offers the same great benefits as all other models in the Blur collection, it puts a more tactical style with its modified tanto blade with partial serrated edge.

With its more angular profile, which gives it even better stabbing properties, the tanto blade can penetrate tough material even better. Its unique shape, in which the material thickness is maintained until just before the tip, provides additional stability when stabbing. The short front edge is also particularly practical for opening packages. The cutting edge is hollow ground and thus razor sharp. And the partial serrated edge offers additional possibilities, e.g. for cutting through webbing material or ropes. All this makes the Tanto Blur a good choice for situations where you need to influence your environment. In an emergency situation, it could really save your life.

The Sandvik 14C28N high-performance stainless steel used for the blade features excellent corrosion resistance and hardness, and the black non-reflective DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating provides additional protection against corrosion. The black handle scales of durable, anodized 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum with anti-slip inserts of Trac-Tec handle tape complete the discreet, matte look of the pocket knife.

The Tanto Blur is equipped with the SpeedSafe® opening mechanism and can thus be effortlessly opened with one hand. Briefly pushing the thumb stud forward overcomes the resistance of the torsion bar spring in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe then takes care of the rest and the blade can be quickly and easily extended from the handle. The convertible pocket clip is designed for both tip-up and tip-down carry, and a hole in the handle allows a lanyard to be attached.
