No, the Fatback has no thick back. On the contrary, this folding knife actually has a pretty slim handle, but to ensure an all-time extra secure grip, the handle scales made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon have been given a particularly strong surface texture.

The beautiful modified drop-point blade has a rather dagger-like shape. The 8Cr13MoV stainless steel used for this purpose was precisely heat-treated by Kershaw and is characterized by high edge retention, resistance and hardness. The bluing provides additional protection and gives the blade a glare-free appearance.

The Fatback features Kershaw's SpeedSafe opening mechanism for effortless one-handed opening. The oversized axle screw is very decorative. Holes in the handle are placed to allow you to choose from the 4 different positions that Kershaw's pocket clip offers (tip-up/tip-down, left/right) to find the best carrying position for you. In addition, this pocket clip is a deep-carry clip, so the knife can be carried comfortably and deep in your pocket in complete safety.
