The Scallion is already one of the most popular Kershaw knives, but Kershaw thought you could go one step further, and so the folding knife was given great looking handle scales made of black aluminum.

The approximately 6 cm long, oh-so-practical blade remains unchanged, so this model is also the ideal size and weight to be carried comfortably in your pocket, purse or backpack.

The blade is made of 420HC high carbon stainless steel for good edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. The stonewash finish gives it a soft, matte look and is also easy to clean. The handle of the black Scallion knife is made of steel plates and anodized aluminum handle scales. Anodizing allows aluminum to be coated in every color imaginable (here, a great matte black was created), provides better protection against scratches, and also has a strengthening effect on the metal. Thus, the handle is strong, light and colorful at the same time.

Whether you are left- or right-handed, the Scallion can be opened quickly and effortlessly thanks to SpeedSafe opening mechanism and ambidextrous flipper. Simply press the flipper and the blade can be extended from the handle and is ready for use in an instant.

For optimal security, the black Scallion is double-locked: A liner lock keeps the blade securely locked in place during use, and when the Scallion is folded closed, a tip lock slider holds the blade firmly in place for safe transport.
