Medieval spectacle frame
Do you want to emphasize your costume with a great accessory? Then you've come to the right place with our late medieval spectacles!
These beautifully crafted spectacle frames are based on an original from the 15th century and will add even more authenticity to your costume. Thanks to the way they are made, the spectacles can be practically fanned out and closed, allowing them to be adjusted to fit your nose perfectly. When not in use, they can simply be folded up and stowed away. They also have a frame so that they can be glazed at the optician.
Historically, medieval spectacles like these were not fastened behind the ears with temples. They were attached to the head with straps through the holes provided, as shown in image 4.
