Late medieval trousers from the 15th century in brown with cords, made from a wool blend and linen lining, as well as a bib to hold the trousers over the cords.

Description

Late medieval pants of the 15th century with cords

These trousers are made from a wool blend fabric (at least 85% wool) and an inner lining (on the waistband and leg hems) made from 100% linen. They were also supplied with white cords. The bib, which existed until modern times (see, for example, traditional leather pants), is fastened on both sides with a cord in two holes attached to the legs.

The shown cords are included in the delivery.

Furthermore, the trousers have 6 points on the waistband, each of which has two aglet holes to lace the trousers to a belt or doublet. The aglet holes fit for example to our doublets VM002452, VM002453, VM002454.

Please note that the trousers do not have a button or similar to close the waistband, because in those days the trousers were held by the cords.
