This limited edition classic is one of the finest multi-purpose hunting knives ever produced and has been a popular piece in the Cold Steel®s lineup for many years.

The Outdoorsman® is razor sharp and ideal for skinning thanks to its wide blade area and raised tip. For coarser work, part of the back of the blade has been sharpened, making the knife perfect even for breaking up big game. The generous fuller of the Outdoorsman® is fully sheathed with weather- and slip-resistant Kray-Ex™. This allows the knife to be used in complete safety even with wet or bloody hands.

The San Mai® is an expertly crafted three-layer stainless steel. A hard carbon steel is sandwiched between flexible low carbon spring steel. This ensures maximum edge retention with great resistance to lateral and impact stress. San Mai® is a worldwide registered trademark of Cold Steel®. Produced only in extremely small quantities, this steel is used exclusively for Cold Steel®'s most exclusive fixed collector blades.
