Pocket knife Kershaw Brawler

The Brawler is equipped with a modified tanto blade. This blade shape is often chosen for tactical knives and rescue knives that are expected to have good stabbing properties, for example, to cut through tough material. The tanto shape, in which the full thickness of the material is retained until just before the tip, gives the blade tip more stability than many other blade shapes, making it ideal for stabbing.

You may also have noticed that the Brawler features an Swedge (a ground, though not sharp, blade top). This taper, or bevel towards the back of the blade, slims the blade and thus provides even more penetrating power. At the same time, the straight blade belly puts out an excellent cutting performance, is ideal for tasks where pressure needs to be applied to the blade, and is easy to resharpen. All of this adds up to a great all-purpose knife for everyday use. The handle of the Brawler is also characterized by high functionality. It features an angled curvature and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. The thumb ramp at the base of the blade has pronounced so-called jimpings (notches or grooves), which provide additional grip. When open, the flipper serves as a parry element and provides additional protection to the hand during use. The Brawler is equipped with the SpeedSafe opening mechanism, making it quick and effortless to flip open with one hand. To release the blade from the handle, simply press the flipper. The SpeedSafe system does the rest, so the blade locks into working position and is ready to use in an instant.

Completing the total package are sturdy fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle scales, a secure liner lock and Kershaw's convertible pocket clip that allows for 4 carry positions.
