In a car battery, the cathode (English cathode) is the electrode that attracts the positive charge. And one thing we can say for sure: one look at Kershaw's cathode pocket knife with tanto blade and you will clearly feel its attraction.

The Cathode is not super-extravagant, but ultra-functional. The approximately 5.7 cm long tanto blade does a great job of both cutting and stabbing. In the upper area of the blade gives it a Top Grind (taper or bevel to the back of the blade) the certain extra in terms of style, while the thumb ramp with pronounced so-called Jimpings (notches or grooves) provides a secure grip - especially if you have to grasp the blade shorter for fine work.

With the SpeedSafe opening mechanism and the integrated flipper, the blade can be effortlessly opened with one hand. And since the knife is equipped with a flipper, it makes no difference whether you are left- or right-handed.

The stainless steel handle is adorned with a repeating pattern created by press hardening, which not only provides a beautiful appearance, but also even better grip. A sturdy frame lock ensures the blade is securely locked in place during use. Black hardware, including a textured backspacer and a convertible pocket clip, accentuate and add the finishing touches to the beautiful all-steel look of the Cathode knife.
