The Dividend is more eye-catching than ever with its new composite blade and milled and anodized aluminum handle. Kershaw's proprietary composite blade technology combines two steels in one blade. In this case, CPM D2 and Böhler N690. Kershaw applied the Böhler N690 to the top of the blade to take advantage of its corrosion resistance and exceptional hardness. Furthermore, they put the D2 on the cutting edge to benefit from its wear resistance, toughness and excellent edge retention. Then they permanently bonded the two steels in a tooth-like pattern for a warbird-like style.
