Viking sword, blunt with scabbard, 11th century, show fighting sword SK-B, total length 96 cm

This sword is a show fighting replica of a late Viking one-handed sword, originally from the early 11th century.

The sword was made by hand without exception. The guard and the elaborately created pommel were made of heat-treated, forgeable cast iron. The blade, forged from high quality spring steel and hardened to approx. 48 HRC, runs continuously to the pommel and is hand riveted to it. The blade has an excellent groove, which gives the sword a high elasticity and at the same time a lightness. The cutting edges and the tip of the blades are blunt and additionally rounded. The handle was wrapped with leather.

To this Viking sword belongs a very nice wooden leather scabbard with two buckles attached to straps. At these buckles, for example, your own sword attachment can be buckled.
