An impressive ceremonial fighting hammer from the 15th - 16th century with a dagger in the shape of a fist. Good for collectors of historical weapons.

Description

This beautiful pageantry war hammer is made after several paintings and findings from the late medieval era. You can see such findings in the Switzer National Museum in Zurich.

As war hammers used to have a more expedient form usually it is likely that war hammers with dagger heads have been some kind of pageantry pieces.

The head is formed like a hand holding a dagger. The hand is made out of brass casting, the dagger out of steel. It is fixed on a wooden handle.

As it is a decorative piece, the dagger head is blunt.
