German cymbal hood with visor 14th century made of 2mm thick steel - suitable for display!

This pelvic cap is a replica of a find from around 1370. The original is now on display in the Valeria Museum in Sion, Switzerland. The pelvic hood developed in the early 14th century out of the brain hood.

The helmet was forged and welded by hand from 2 mm thick steel and is very robust.
The visor is hinged and can also be completely removed.
A comfortable, padded fabric inlet has been riveted into the inside for attachment to the head.
The brass rivets on the side were intended for attaching your own chain buckle.
