Heavy hand-woven blanket made from 100% sheep's wool.

No more freezing! Even in icy temperatures, this blanket will keep you warm. Made from 100% sheep's wool, the blanket is the perfect companion for camp life.
Special attention has been paid to authentic manufacturing. They are an optimal replica to the originals of the Middle Ages.

The production

The blankets are made for us by an old, traditional family business in the Maramures Mountains. All our blankets are made by hand there. Each blanket is therefore unique.
They are made on looms that are about 70cm wide. The 70cm pieces of blanket are then sewn together to make one large blanket.
With a proud weight of about 1.15 kilograms per square metre, the blanket is very heavy.
The wool is washed exclusively in spring water. This preserves the natural wool grease, which has many advantages. The woollen blanket is therefore insensitive to dirt and practically cleans itself. The grease makes water roll off, which is why even a small rain shower under this woollen blanket won't harm you.
The white and grey wool is not dyed. The coloured stripes, on the other hand, are dyed with natural colours such as onion skins.

-Not chemically dyed. Only natural dyes are used to dye the coloured stripes.

The size and weight indicated may vary slightly (larger or smaller) due to the absolute handmade nature of the product, tolerance is approx. 4%
