Medieval buckling wall Cup from the 6th century, 0.25 Liters

This medieval cup, or buckling wall cup, was made after an original, which dates back to the 6th century.
The cup is made of built-up pottery and was made by hand on the potter's wheel. It is a so-called stoneware, i.e. it is sintered by high firing temperature. This makes it waterproof and food safe.
